Myth and Sculpture

In his creative work, Nico Cornelis Klomp uses an ancient ceramic technique. From a thin slab of clay of 3 to 5 millimetres thick, he cuts pieces, which he uses to build the sculpture. He then fires them at 1080° Celcius and paints the sculpture in one or several colours. The size of the sculptures ranges from 60 centimetres to 2 metres.
